GINGER
One of the world’s most well-known and useful plants, ginger has been used for centuries as a spice for flavoring food and as a medicinal plant. Ginger contains a diverse array of important vitamins and minerals. It contains gingerol, a compound with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that has been linked to many unique health benefits (reducing hypertension, inflammation, blood sugar regulation, gastrointestinal relief, and more).
CINNAMON
Cinnamon is an aromatic and delicious spice made from the inner bark of trees known as Cinnamomum. Loaded with powerful antioxidants, cinnamon is so powerful that it can even be used as a natural food preservative. We add it in our recipes for its aroma, taste, and benefits for you!
CLOVES
Did you know that cloves are more than just a spice that add flavor to your food? These sweet and aromatic flower buds of the clove tree, Syzygium aromaticum, are believed to have magical healing powers in traditional Chinese medicine. They're associated with the spleen, stomach, and kidney meridians, and can help dispel cold, warm up your digestive system, and push rebellious energy out of your body! And if that's not enough, cloves can even warm up your kidney yang, which is like the foundation of your body's vital force. Who knew that these little spice buds could be such a powerhouse of goodness?
