Is it mabi, mavi, mabí or mauby?


It all depends on where you're from in the Caribbean. People in Puerto Rico may call it maví, in Haiti mauby, and in the Dominican Republic mabí. Either way, they're all the same, perhaps with variations in the spices used (anise seeds, cloves, cinnamon). Some people also add orange peels.
