is more than just a delicious ingredient in our Bayjoo recipes. Boiled for consumption, it's a potential source of bioactive compounds that have amazing health benefits. Lo Han Guo or Monk fruit is native to Southern China and named after the monks who first cultivated it centuries ago. Monk fruit sweetener is made from extract derived from dried fruit. The extract is 100x sweeter than table sugar, has zero calories and carbs, does not raise blood glucose levels (perfect for diabetics!) and it's filled with anti-inflammatory properties.
